Andrew Hawke

Andrew’s career spans two sectors: the Royal Australian Navy and the maritime industry. His naval service included sea command, multiple operational deployments, and roles in tactical development and acquisition. In industry, he has held commercial roles with Austal, QinetiQ, and Thales, leading consultancy teams, business development initiatives, and major global capture campaigns.

At EPE, Andrew provides expert support in maritime systems and the integration of sensors and effectors to deliver solutions for Defence, security, and commercial partners. His focus on fit-for-purpose outcomes and speed to capability reflects EPE’s core values of enabling and protecting Australians and their allies to operate safely in challenging environments.

His operational experience in the Middle East, boarding operations, littoral activities, and humanitarian aid is complemented by a long-standing interest in the utility of drones and their potential to support warfighters.

Andrew lives in Brisbane and remains a long-suffering Wallabies supporter.
