| Tim Grabert CTEP CSEP MBA FIEAust Test & Evaluation Capability Lead • DCE Capability and Innovation Nova Systems Mr Tim Grabert is the test and evaluation capability lead at Nova Systems Australia, where he is also the principal engineer responsible for overseeing the delivery of T&E services and Nova’s flight simulator qualification program. He is currently leading the rollout of the Nova Systems Test & Evaluation Centre of Excellence where he is responsible for identifying the essential skills, knowledge and tools required by the next generation of test & evaluation practitioners for Australian industry. He is currently managing research and development projects in the fields of model-based systems engineering, operational experimentation and the adoption of AI, the use of synthetic environments for test & evaluation, and mission engineering. Tim is currently a Director and Chair of the Professional Development Committee of the International Test & Evaluation Association (ITEA). In this role he oversees ITEA’s professional credentialing program including the Certified Test & Evaluation Professional (CTEP)pathway. Tim previously served in the Army as a rotary wing flight test engineer which included a tenure as the rotary wing flight commander in the RAAF Flight Test Squadron (ARDU). He is a graduate of the UK MoD’s Empire Test Pilots’ School, holds a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering from RMIT University, an MBA from Central Queensland University and is a Certified Test & Evaluation Professional with ITEA, and a Certified Systems Engineering Professional with INCOSE. Tim is a career Test & Evaluation professional and an advocate for creating sustainable and fulfilling career pathways for like-mined Australian T&E professionals. |
