Ryan McMahon is the Head of
RPAS and Autonomous Technologies at Aviation Australia and a Co-Founder of
Remote Aviation, where he has spent 9 years delivering CASA approved training
and managing operations for major tertiary and government institutions.
A commercial pilot, flight instructor, and chief remote pilot, Ryan bridges the
gap between traditional crewed aviation and the emerging Advanced Air Mobility
sector. His work spans scaling autonomous systems programs for industry leaders
through to constructing AAM training pathways positioning him at the
intersection of regulation, technology, and workforce development.
Ryan is uniquely qualified to address the critical skills, regulatory
standards, and training systems required to future-proof Australia’s aviation
capability.
