Michael Roberts

Senior Aeronautical Engineer

Mike Roberts is an experienced aeronautical design engineer with a passion for design, safety and testing. He’s spent the past 16 years working with Nova Systems following a Masters in the US and development of a backpackable UAS for the US Army. Mike has specialised in airworthiness, safety and design of both crewed and uncrewed air and ground systems, including work in CASG and internal development projects within Nova.

Mike has a passion for all things uncrewed, developing airborne, land and maritime systems.  Mike’s key airworthiness projects have been the introduction into service of MRH90 and MQ-4C Triton. In the land domain, Mike led development of a large scale, high speed uncrewed ground system, including trial deployments to military ranges.
