Mitchell Williams

Country Managing Director, Korea

Skyports


Mitchell Williams is the Korea Country Manager for global advanced air mobility (AAM) infrastructure developer and operator, Skyports. He holds an MBA, and undergraduate work in Psychology and Economics.

Appointed to establish Skyports’ Korea office in 2023, he oversees the compa­ny’s infrastructure operations in Korea and across the APAC region. In his role, Mitchell leads in facilitating an extensive list of priorities including local stakeholder engagement, real estate agreements, regulatory discussions, operational procedures and enabling technology.

An experienced General Manager and Consultant, Mitchell has helped organizations, from startups to Fortune 500s, grow their presence in Korea. With branch development as a core skill, his career spans over 30 years, focusing on expanding the reach of both inward and outward-facing businesses in the country. He led Curtiss-Wright Corp. as the APAC Regional Managing Director from 2013-2019.

Mitchell also dedicates his time to volunteer work, which includes serving on the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM), and the ITA working group with the commercial department of the US Government. His strong desire for a cleaner and more sustainable Korea has inspired his work as Chair of both the Energy and Environment Committee and the Busan committee, working towards decarbonization, the abolition of fine particle dust, and Busan Smart City infrastructure planning.
