Sally Allsopp

Sally Allsopp, (Office of the Chief Remote Pilot, Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water) is the Project Lead for a joint initiative with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to enhance maritime domain awareness capabilities of partner countries in Southeast Asia.

Her focus is building bilateral strategic partnerships through Southeast Asia to deliver maritime domain awareness technologies with an emphasis on uncrewed systems to meet their current and emerging needs. The project integrates the creation of a robust framework for testing, evaluating and implementing cyber vetted capabilities in support of partner countries’ functions.

Sally has over 25 years of experience working in law enforcement operations with the Australian Border Force, New South Wales Police as a Detective and with various other international organisations investigating organised crime syndicates and financial crime with an emphasis on covert surveillance collection techniques to gather intelligence and evidence in support of criminal disruption.
