Christopher White joined the Royal Australian Navy in 1993 and completed specialist training as a Mine Warfare and Clearance Diving Officer in 2001. He was the Commanding Officer of Australian Clearance Diving Team One from 2008 to 2010. After his command, he served at the United States Naval Mine and Anti-Submarine Warfare Command where he was awarded the US Meritorious Service Medal. Chris left the permanent naval force in late 2013, taking up a position at the Australian Maritime College (AMC). He is now as AMC’s Manager of Defence and Autonomous Systems and is responsible for a rapidly growing and very busy group of academics, engineers, technicians and instructors. |
