Charles (Chuck) Fralick is the Vice President for Technology and the Chief Technology Officer for the Sea Systems Business Area of Leidos with 45 years of experience in marine engineering. He is a Leidos Technical Fellow and manages all research and development for the Leidos maritime portfolio including autonomous surface and subsurface vehicles, deep ocean sensors, surveillance systems, underwater navigation, and naval architecture. He serves as the Chair of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Undersea Warfare Division Vehicles Committee. Chuck has a BS in marine science and engineering (University of South Carolina) and graduate degrees in national security and policy (US Naval War College), physical oceanography (US Naval Postgraduate School) and hydrographic science (University of Southern Mississippi). Chuck is a retired US Navy officer (23 years) and nuclear-trained submariner, diver, and oceanographer and was both Submarine and Surface Warfare Officer qualified |
