Ben Fell

Ben Fell is the Manager of Transforming Operations at Fugro, where he leads the implementation and operational integration of uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) across the Asia-Pacific region. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture from the Australian Maritime College and brings over 19 years of experience in the marine industry. 

Ben began his career as a Naval Architect with Brisbane Ship Constructors and Austal, before transitioning into the offshore oil and gas sector. There, he held a range of technical and leadership roles including Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Manager, Transforming Operations. 

Since 2020, Ben has been at the forefront of Fugro’s Australian USV program, playing a key role in advancing autonomous maritime operations and bringing cutting-edge uncrewed technologies into commercial service.
