RPAS 2025 Speaker Bio | Sándor Kalinovits Aviation Officer Ministry of Construction and Transport, Aviation Supervisory Authority Department, Unmanned Aircraft System Unit I'm Sándor Kalinovits, a vehicle engineer specializing in aircraft. I graduated in 2021 and gained hands-on experience during my studies through internships at GE Aviation Hungary and the Hungarian Aviation Authority. After earning my diploma, I began my career as a maintenance planner at an aircraft maintenance company. In 2022, I was given the opportunity to lead the unmanned aircraft domain at the Civil Aviation Authority. Since then, we've seen a significant increase in the number of issued authorizations, along with major advancements in both our professional and human resources — all while managing the growing complexity of operations. One of our biggest achievements came last year when the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) conducted an audit of the UAS domain. We achieved an outstanding result, which validated that the efficient yet customer-friendly approach we represent |
