Khin Paing

Chief Program Officer

SkyGrid

Khin Paing is the Chief Program Officer at SkyGrid, where she leads strategic planning, certification, safety, cybersecurity, and quality assurance for the development of third-party services supporting manned, unmanned, and autonomous aircraft operations.

Prior to SkyGrid, Khin managed the MQ-9B SkyGuardian and Protector RPAS programs at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. (GA-ASI), overseeing a $350M IRAD budget and leading certification efforts for the first military-type certified RPAS to meet civilian aviation standards.

She previously served as Engineering Manager at Gulfstream Aerospace, leading integration and compliance for the G-500, G-600, and G-400 programs, and played a key role in the first aircraft OEM certification to ARP-4754A standards.

Earlier in her career, Khin managed Bombardier Challenger aircraft programs at Rockwell Collins, overseeing development and certification of a hybrid avionics product line.

She holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an M.Eng. in Systems Engineering from Iowa State University.
