James Finch is the Regional Manager for Skydio in Australia and New Zealand. With over 15 years’ experience in the drone industry, his career began in the Australian Army, where he worked with unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and gained valuable experience in defence operations. He then moved to Insitu Pacific, a Boeing subsidiary, where he helped deliver domestic and international drone solutions for various commercial and military needs. With a deep understanding of both the tactical and commercial aspects of the industry, James is dedicated to advancing the use of autonomous drone technology and enhancing operational efficiency for organisations across diverse sectors. His expertise lies in ensuring that drone operations are not only efficient and innovative but also safe, secure, and aligned with industry standards and regulations. James is passionate about promoting the ethical use of autonomous technology and is committed to advancing how drones are deployed in a variety of sectors.
