SkyTech 2025 Speaker Bio | Wayne Condon Head and Chief Pilot TOLL Aviation Uncrewed Systems Wayne Condon is the Head and Chief Pilot for TOLL Aviation’s Uncrewed Systems, which sits under the portfolio of the TOLL Aviation’s Government & Defence. A professional educator, Wayne holds amongst other qualifications, a Masters in Learning Management and Education from Central Queensland University and lectures at Griffith University within the post graduate program in Aviation Security & Terrorism. He has an extensive aviation and uncrewed industry background of 35 years in operations and training experience in both the military and civil sectors. Wayne sits executively across various Government RPAS panels and Groups namely as the Chair of the Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems (AAUS) Training Advisory Group and various Civil Aviation Safety Authority(CASA) and Air Services Australia RPAS & Technical Working Groups, which is appointed and reports to the departmental Aviation Safety Advisory Panels Wayne holds multiengine, turbine and instrument flight ratings for Fixed Wing Aircraft along with CASA licensing delegations for Remotely Piloted Aircraft System’s 150kg MR & VTOL Liquid Fuel Systems, Aerodrome Operations, and Meteorology Observers approvals. Wayne still serves with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) at the current rank of Squadron Leader (SQNLDR) as a Senior Police Officer within the Joint Military Police & Security Forces, and is currently posted to Combat Support Group (CSG) as the A/MGR of Operational Airworthiness Uncrewed Aerial Systems & Aerodromes |
