SkyTech 2025 Speaker Bio | Oleksandra Molloy Senior Lecturer in Aviation, Aviation Program Coordinator UNSW Dr Oleksandra Molloy is an academic, a thought leader a passionate advocate for training the next generation professionals, and one of leading experts on the drones in modern warfare, in particular their use in the war in Ukraine. Oleksandra is a Senior Lecturer in Aviation and Aviation Program Lead in the School of Science of the University of New South Wales (UNSW, Canberra). Dr Molloy is an IATA Instructor within the safety faculty in the Asia-Pacific region. Dr Molloy is a research trailblazer and award-winning leader who conducts multi-disciplinary research in defence, human factors, transport safety, and training. In the area of uncrewed systems, Dr Molloy has led the first evidence-based research on the use of drones in the war in Ukraine (Australian Army Research Centre) and is currently collaborating with industry on developing AI-assisted approach to monitor and predict cognitive load, and support training for Mission Aircrew/UAS Sensor operators (Defence Trailblazer). |
