Mahmood Hussein is a successful entrepreneur with a remarkable journey from humble beginnings in Pakistan to becoming a leading business figure in Australia. Raised in a poor farming family, Mahmood’s early years were spent helping his father sell vegetables. At age seven, his family moved to England, where Mahmood’s passion for learning eventually led him to earn an MBA and a degree in mechanical engineering.

As the founder and CEO of Global Drone Solutions (GDS), Mahmood has positioned the company as Western Australia’s largest drone pilot training provider. GDS works with major clients like Rio Tinto, BHP, Shell, and Chevron. Mahmood’s leadership has earned the company numerous awards, including the Pearcey Entrepreneur of the Year Award and a finalist spot in the Australian Business Awards.

In addition to GDS, Mahmood co-founded Global Energy Learning Solutions and Industrial Metaverse, both focused on training in the oil and gas and soft skills sectors. His story is one of determination, resilience, and entrepreneurial excellence, serving as an inspiration for others
