SkyTech 2025 Speaker Bio | Courtney Meares-Whitty Airservices Australia Courtney Meares-Whitty is a skilled aviation and business professional with a diverse background in both general aviation and commercial airline operations. A graduate of Swinburne University, Courtney holds a Bachelor of Aviation and a Bachelor of Commerce, combining technical aviation knowledge with strong business acumen. Courtney worked with a small helicopter and seaplane operator in general aviation, gaining valuable operational experience. This foundation led to a role at Virgin Australia, where she contributed to the operations centre as part of the Ground Delay Program and Flight Dispatch team. In this capacity, she played a key role in flight planning, optimising fuel usage and supporting on time performance. Further advancing her career, Courtney shifted to supporting Virgin Australia's Flight Dispatch team, where they focused on policy development, procedural improvements, and technology. Her proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills led to taking on additional responsibilities, including the ATM and Meteorology Manager portfolio. Currently, Courtney is working at Airservices Australia in Uncrewed Services, leveraging their expertise in aviation operations and technology. They also lead the development and operationalisation of Flight Information Management System (FIMS). |
