The primary role of the AAUS Cyber Advisory Group will be to provide industry with a voice to address cybersecurity issues associated with the manufacture and operation of autonomous systems.
Terms of Reference
- Explore civil-military cybersecurity concerns and challenges relating to the use of drones within Australia.
- Provide and independant forum for cybersecurity exchange on autonomous systems between industry, regulators, state and federal governments, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain situational awareness of relevant developments on global trends for autonomous systems, counter UAS and their relevance and impact to the Australian cyber context.
- Support AAUS in the development of reports and/or advocacy on policy challenges relating to cybersecurity aspects of drone operations.
- Work with related AAUS Working Group on adjacent issues, such as operations, equipage, training and airspace integration.
