Cybersecurity Advisory Group

The primary role of the AAUS Cyber Advisory Group will be to provide industry with a voice to address cybersecurity issues associated with the manufacture and operation of autonomous systems.

Terms of Reference
  1. Explore civil-military cybersecurity concerns and challenges relating to the use of drones within Australia.
  2. Provide and independant forum for cybersecurity exchange on autonomous systems between industry, regulators, state and federal governments, and other stakeholders.
  3. Maintain situational awareness of relevant developments on global trends for autonomous systems, counter UAS and their relevance and impact to the Australian cyber context. 
  4. Support AAUS in the development of reports and/or advocacy on policy challenges relating to cybersecurity aspects of drone operations.
  5. Work with related AAUS Working Group on adjacent issues, such as operations, equipage, training and airspace integration.
