We’re pleased to announce the official launch of the AAUS Drone Accreditation Program — a major step forward in strengthening professionalism, capability, and trust across Australia’s uncrewed systems industry.

The Accreditation Program has been developed by industry, for industry, and is designed to:

• Recognise professional operators who demonstrate strong governance, safety, and operational maturity

• Support continuous professional development and good practice

• Provide clients, regulators, and partners with greater confidence when engaging drone service providers

• Help position accredited operators as leaders in a rapidly evolving sector

• Unlock eligibility for discounted insurance premiums through industry-aligned products that reward professional standards and reduced risk.

Accreditation is voluntary, practical, and scalable, with a strong focus on real-world operations rather than unnecessary administrative burden.
