RPAS 2026 Speaker Bio ![]() | Brendan Williams Technical Fellow Boeing Brendan Williams has more than 40 years of engineering experience across the aerospace industry including the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and The Boeing Company, representing subsidiaries including Boeing Defence Australia (BDA), Boeing Research and Technology – Australia (BRT-Australia), and Insitu Pacific on both a local and global scale. Brendan is a Boeing Technical Fellow (TF) and is a technical lead and Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Airspace Integration Specialist on Boeing’s ATLAS Program (a global regulatory innovation engagement program). Brendan has published 31 co-authored papers, been awarded four best papers, holds four patents, and is currently a member of the Australian Government’s (DITRDCA) UTM Working Group and AAM Consultative Committee, the Australian Association of Uncrewed Systems (AAUS) UTM and AAM Working Groups, and CASA’s RPAS/AAM Roadmap Review and Australian Future Airspace Framework Technical Working Groups. Brendan is an advisor to the Australian Member of the ICAO RPAS Panel, and a member of the ICAO RPAS Panel’s Required Link Performance Task Force. Brendan is a champion of and actively engaged in Boeing Australia’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), Internship and Graduate Programs, Mentoring, and Gender Diversity initiatives. He actively mentors several young women in their technical careers. Recognized with the 2024 AAUS Leadership Award, he remains a tireless champion for innovation, regulatory progress, and industry collaboration. |
