Speaker Biography | Joshua Bailey Program Manager, InnovationQuantum Systems Australia Passionate about uncrewed systems, Josh has been building and operating UAS since he was 10 years old. A graduate of the Royal Military College – Duntroon, he served on active duty in the Middle East in 2010 and 2014, providing logistical support and training the Afghan National Army alongside US forces. After leaving active service in 2015, Josh completed an MBA at the University of Queensland and spent the next decade consulting on Defence projects in UAS, counter-UAS, electronic warfare, and special operations. For the past 10 months, he has been the Innovation Program Manager at Quantum Systems Australia, where he is growing a sovereign UAS innovation capability focused on solving customer needs in the Asia–Pacific region. A keen UAS enthusiast, Josh also co-hosts the Tactics & Tech podcast with Andrew Crowe, exploring the intersection of technology and modern conflict. |
