Adam Waldie

Adam Waldie is a former Australian Naval Officer and a qualified Submariner. During his career Adam was heavily involved in the at sea commissioning of the Collins Class Submarine including Sonar and Combat System trials and integration. This worked culminated in the planning and execution of the first operational deployments of the Collins Class Submarine. 

 Adam joined Thales Underwater Systems in 2010 and led the successful proposal for the Sonar upgrade to the Collins Class through a project known as SEA 1439 Phase 6. As Sales Director he has responsibility for setting the strategy and capture of all major Sonar projects to the Royal Australian Navy. This includes Australia’s’ Hunter and Future Frigate programme as well as all Submarine Programmes under AUKUS Pillar 1 and Autonomous Undersea Surveillance initiatives under AUKUS Pillar 2.    

Adam lives in Manly on the Northern Beaches of Sydney with his wife Leigh and three children, Chloe, Noah and Jack.
