The role of the AAUS Military UAS Advisory Group is to provide industry with a voice to address relevant issues and roadblocks associated military UAS.
Terms of Reference
- Explore civil-military regulatory concerns and challenges within Australia and New Zealand
- Provide an independent forum for technical exchange on military UAS applications between defence industry, regulators, State and Federal Governments, and other stakeholders;
- Investigate and report on global trends for military UAS, and their relevance and impact to the Australian defence industry context;
- Investigate and report on the policy challenges of risked based operations, through to type certification, in military and civil airspace; and
- Work with related AAUS Working groups on adjacent issues, such as operations, equipage, training, and airspace integration.
