Industry Opportunity Project LAND129 Phase 4B – Small Unmanned Aerial System

CASG has provided an update on information released to industry at the recent AAUS Land Forces Conference with the intent of bringing all interested participants up to the same level of information/understanding on Project Land 129 Phase 4B.

Project Land 129 Phase 4B

Project Land 129 Phase 4B (L129-4B) seeks to acquire a quantity of small unmanned aerial systems (SUAS) for use by Australian Army combat teams to replace the in-service Wasp AE. The primary purpose of the systems is to provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) support to the combat team commander. L129-4B seeks to replace the Wasp AE over the period FY23/24 to FY25/26.

AAUS Land Forces Conference 2021

Staff from the L129-4B project attended the Land Forces Conference on 2 June 2021, with a presentation from LTCOL Rod Lang at the AAUS conference.

The project team met with Industry during the conference and provided an update on the project.
